Membership & Licensure "Pauses"

Why We Don’t Offer Membership Pauses

We understand that life happens—injuries, unexpected events, or personal circumstances may temporarily prevent you from teaching or dancing. While we wish we could offer membership pauses, our current system is designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and uninterrupted access for all instructors. Here’s why:

1. License & Access Must Remain Active

Your instructor license and access to exclusive Trouper materials (training resources, event discounts, and your instructor profile) are tied to an active membership. Pausing would deactivate these benefits, requiring a full reinstatement process later (taking another Instructor Training in order to subscribe again).

2. Keeping the Community Engaged

Even if you’re unable to dance right now, your membership ensures you stay connected and inspired:

  • Trouper Talks: Gain insights and motivation that can help you grow & learn.

  • Trouper Connect Newsletter: Stay updated on news, tips, and community highlights.

  • ? Plan Your Next big project: Use this time to brainstorm future projects or improve current class schedule, marketing, etc.

3. Fairness for All Members

To maintain a sustainable system for everyone, we apply the same policies uniformly. Offering pauses for some would create complications in billing, resource allocation, and instructor eligibility.

4. Early Bird Perks & Future Savings

By staying active, you’ll retain access to:

  • Discounted rates on future events/trainings.

  • Exclusive materials to help you prepare for your return.

We’re Here to Support You!

Wishing you a swift recovery and looking forward to seeing you back in action soon!
